Just finished this. Definitely shed some tears for a few of the kids.
Waiting for Superman focused primarily on the role of teachers in one’s education, briefly focusing on the legislative aspects of the public school system. It was a good introductory look into this, but fairly narrow in its scope.
From a documentary perspective, it was put together pretty well.
Anyone have any other good documentaries or literature based on public education?
